Final Project - Part 3 - This week I had the change to take pictures while at my parents house. You will see how this helped me this week.

#7 - Convention - One of the best ways for me to meet my kind of people is to go to conventions. Here are some things showing off the first two conventions I went to. The first one is Vermont Comic Con, which was in September and my first convention. The next one is Bakuretsu Con, which was in October. I enjoyed this convention the most.

#8 - Japanese - The Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise is a Japanese franchise, so after watching some episode in Japanese I wanted to learn the language. Here we have a list of some words that I have learned so far. I would say not bad for a beginner.

#9 - Switching majors - The Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise has also surprisingly made me want to switch my major. I used to be going for an acting major, since I wanted to become an actress, but I switched my major to art, so that I can become an artist. Here I am trying to make it look like I am practing lines. The reason I am in front of a mirror is, so that later I can edit this picture. This was taken at my parents house, since I wanted a big mirror and they have one.

Week 2. Final Project Portraits. I gave some of my portrait photos a
happier tone to them, this is one of them.

Week 2. Final Project. Portraits. With the great depth of field in this photo
I gave my subject a simple background so it wouldn't distract the viewer from the
                            main subject.

Final Project - Part 2 - This week I took pictures of things that would be a little more difficult to photograph, but none the less they are things that were a blast to photograph.

#4 - Cosplayer - A cosplayer is someone who dresses up in a costume. If you got to an anime, comic book, manga, or video game game based convention you will finds lots of cosplayers. We pride ourselves on are attention to detail and the quality of are cosplays. Here I am cosplaying Mutou Yuugi from the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. I was inspired by pictures I saw of other cosplayers sitting on stairs or this kind of view in this picture.

#5 - Anime - The Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is how I got introduced to the franchise. Here I tried to capture myself watching one of the episodes. This was a hard picture to pull off, but good thing I have a timer on my camera. It has been very helpful for this final project and I am getting better at using it.

#6 - Drawing - The Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise inspired me to pick up a new hobby: Drawing. Since then I have been drawing and I now want to become an artist. Working off of a suggestion that someone in class gave me on one of my first pictures I took for the class, I decided to start one of the drawings I was going to start during winter break. This drawing is going to be for one of my favorite artist on the website called deviantART, which I am apart of. That site has not only kept me connected with the art world, but also I have made new friends on there, because of it.
