Katlin Cantin

Final project - Part 1 - I had one idea for my final to take pictures of cosplayers (They are pretty much people who dress up in costumes and go to conventions or dress up for fun), however, since I am not going to a convention any time soon I thought of another idea.

My theme is "Franchise that changed my life." This is a theme I am pretty set on doing as I already have ideas for other pictures I could take for this theme. Each of my eight pictures will be representing something new I learned to do or something that because of this franchise has changed my life. The Franchise I am refering to is: Yu-Gi-Oh!

#1 - Hero - Mutou Yuugi - Yuugi here is my new hero in life. Fictional hero that is, so I thought taking a picture of him would be perfect, since I have learned a lot from him.

#2 - Manga - It was, because of a friend I met (She loves Yu-Gi-Oh! too) who convinced me to read the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. Here I am showing which way to read the manga, since you read Japanese manga different from English comics and books. You read from back to front and right to left.

#3 - Dueling (Trading card game) The characters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime play a trading card game called Duel Monsters. After watching them duel many times I wanted to become a duelist too (That is what people are called who play this game). Here I have lots of different cards spread out to give a sense of what some of the cards look like.
